Are you an emerging or established Filipino filmmaker with a bold, boundary-pushing story to tell? QCinema International Film Festival is once again offering P500,000 in production grants for short films in early development!

For its 13th year, QCinema continues to champion innovative storytelling, providing Filipino filmmakers—both locally and globally—the opportunity to premiere their work at the QCinema International Film Festival in November 2025.

What’s in Store?

🎥 Grant Amount: P500,000🌍 World Premiere: QCinema International Film Festival 2025📜 Eligible Formats: Narrative fiction, animation, or experimental🎯 Running Time: Maximum 20 minutes (including credits)

Who Can Apply?

✔ Open to Filipino citizens (18 years old and above)✔ Only one entry per proponent (either the director or producer)✔ Must be at script level during application

Application Requirements

📌 Submit TWO (2) PDF files:

1️⃣ Full script (standard screenwriting format)

2️⃣ Full deck containing:

• Logline

• Short Synopsis (max 3 paragraphs)

• Long Synopsis (max 1 page)

• Director’s Statement

• Director’s Profile

• Producer’s Profile (optional: Statement)

• Sample Works (with links & access credentials if needed)

• Proposed Cast & Crew

• Line Item Budget (covering all production phases)

• Production Timeline

Key Guidelines

✅ Health & Safety Compliance: All productions must adhere to proper safety protocols.

✅ Rights & Distribution: The filmmaker retains ownership of the film, but QCinema holds the right to screen it during QCIFF 2025 and selected events thereafter (with prior notice).

✅ Exclusive Premiere: The final film must have its Philippine premiere at QCIFF 2025.

✅ Copyright Compliance: Any literary sources, music, or footage must have proper clearance.

✅ One-Time Submission: Ensure all requirements are complete before applying—once submitted, entries cannot be edited.
